My abstract acrylic paintings are full of energy and freedom. The use of vivid color and spontaneous shapes and movements capture emotions beneath the surface. Each canvas becomes a field of exploration ~ a visual journey where imagination follows. I love to use layers to build momentum, letting drips, strokes, and textures form their own story without constraint.

“This artist’s paintings are a display of her heart. What immediately stood out to me was her confidence with color. With every repeated look I discover a new layer.” ~ Hartwell, GA

“Several weeks ago, while visiting family in Hartwell, GA I was invited to visit Nancy’s studio. Looking at her pieces makes you feel alive. I love her choice of colors in each of her paintings. The textures she creates in her paintings blow me away. Each painting opens doors in your imagination.” ~ McHenry, MD

Meet the artist

My home studio is located in Hartwell, Georgia, between Atlanta, GA and Greenville, SC. I grew up in Wisconsin and a few years before retiring we moved south. Creativity has always been a part of my life, whether I am sewing, gardening, decorating, working with wood, or painting. After closing the chapter on my corporate career, I turned my energy towards painting. What began as a second chapter has grown into a true creative calling. Painting has become both a homecoming and a new beginning.
